Builder Licensing

The Building Amendment Act 2012 was a result of a comprehensive review of the Building Act 2004, and was aimed at lifting the overall performance of the building and construction sector. New provisions clearly stating the minimum qualifications and responsibilities of parties involved in the building work are clearly set out. Certain building work is now deemed to be restricted and this means that this work can only be under taken by competent, appropriately licensed building practitioners. Style Construction operates within the requirements of the Building Act 2004 and only employs Licensed Building Practitioners, giving you peace of mind knowing your home is built in accordance with the New Zealand Building Act.
